My Top Picks For Seriously Hydrated Skin

With winter just around the corner, ’tis the season of cracked, dull skin! My once perpetually oily teenage skin has dried up over the years, which means I am forever searching for products that’ll quench my now parched skin. Here’s are some old and new skincare favs that I turn to when my skin is at its worse.

Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado

Before this little pot came into my life, I never bothered with eye cream. It always felt like a product only older women used. What was the point? I was young and practically wrinkle-less. But after reading a few blog posts on the topic I changed my mind. Now I make sure to at the very least use an eye cream before bed to prevent wrinkles and keep the area moisturized. This one from Kiehl’s does just that. It’s thick and creamy. I can feel it tighten my eye area so it seems to be doing its job perfectly!

Clinique Moisture Surge Intense

Hands down my all-time favorite moisturizer! Yep. I’ve said it and I’m sticking to it. Countless moisturizers have sat in my medicine cabinet only to be tossed in the bin. Unlike the others, the Clinique Moisture Surge Intense has never let me down. I love it so much that I’ve repurchased it at least 5 times. It’s that good! It provides intense moisture to my hopelessly dry skin, a necessity during the colder months. It also soothes my skin when it acts up, whether that be a bad case of cystic acne or an allergic reaction to a bad skincare product. I apply it religiously every night and wake up the next morning with plump, glowy skin. This product is seriously undermentioned in the beauty blogosphere and I can’t figure out why! Trust me, it’s worth every penny!

Missha Super Aqua Sleeping Mask

Korean skincare is having a bit of a moment. Major retailers like Sephora now have a K-Beauty section and bloggers routinely rave about the benefits of the famous 10-step routine. I can attest to how insanely good Korean skincare products are as I used to buy as many products I could get my hands on when I studied abroad in South Korea three years ago. I spotted the Missha Super Aqua Sleeping Mask at my local Target and had to pick it up for old times sake. It’s perfect for days when my skin is looking worse for wear. It sinks into my skin like a dream and leaves my skin plump. The only downside is the overwhelming floral scent it leaves on my skin! I don’t mind a hint of fragrance but this sleeping mask has a bit too much.

Pixi Rose Oil Blend

Although this is a new addition to my skincare lineup, the Pixi Rose Oil Blend is already on its way to becoming a staple. Last week, I picked this up at Target on a whim. I’ve been looking for more affordable alternatives to my Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery since facial oils are a newfound favorite. It’s not as lightweight as the Kiehl’s but it sinks in quickly and doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy. As its name would suggest, it has a faint rose scent, which doesn’t bother my usually sensitive nose.

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

This miraculous oil is a cult favorite for good reason. I remember purchasing this a year ago at the Kiehl’s store on Newbury Street. It was pricey at $46 so I debated whether or not it was worth it, but the rave reviews enticed me. Oh, boy am I glad took the plunge! Put this on right before bed and wake up with insanely glowy, soft skin. It also helps dramatically reduce my acne hyperpigmentation spots. I’m almost out of my current bottle and am already looking to repurchase!
